Baseball's appeal is often lost in translation to the digital space, but All-Star Baseball '99 understood the assignment. Its strength lies in its tight pitch-by-pitch gameplay, where precise analog stick control dictates everything from the fastball's location to the arc of a home run. The game's legacy comes from its attention to detail, with era-accurate rosters and a satisfying sense of weight behind every swing and throw.
