Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge

1991
Point-and-clickPuzzleAdventure

Comedy · Historical

The sequel to The Secret of Monkey Island expands on the original's formula with a larger world, more complex puzzles, and a darker tone. Its inventory-based problem solving, witty dialogue, and distinctive art style remain core to the experience, but the introduction of the insult sword fighting mechanic and the multi-part story structure elevate it. Players return for the satisfying feeling of piecing together obtuse clues and the sheer charm that emanates from every pixel.
